We are delighted to welcome Productivity Commissioner John Madden to our conference program.

John recently completed the review of the National Water Initiative; the final report concluded that there was still more to be done on urban water and stormwater reform.  It will be a great opportunity to hear from one of the senior advisors to government on what the future could have in store!

John will be introducing a Plenary debate session where two teams will be arguing for and against the following provocation-

“Contemporary stormwater management fails to provide the value that our communities and environment require, and our decision makers know it”

Our debating teams are reading up on their arguments and the line-up includes:

  • Lindsay Brown (Foundry)
  • Andy Reese (Wood Group, US)
  • Emma James (Sydney Water)
  • Jeremy Cheesemen (Marsden Jacobs)
  • Maddie Greenlee (Bligh Tanner)
  • Ben Penhallurick (Renew Solutions)

You’ll have to come along to see who is arguing for what!
